5 Steps to Jodie Foster’s Evening Glow
5 steps. 1 award-winning complexion!
Celebrity makeup artist Brett Freedman shares how you can achieve Academy award winner Jodie Foster's red carpet glow from the comfort of your home (hint: everything you need might already be on your vanity).
1. Prep by polishing
“Gorgeous makeup starts with gorgeous skin. Exfoliation is the easiest way to keep skin looking fresh and youthful. Enter my secret weapon: One Fine Day® Face Polish. I gave Jodie the glammy assignment of using this finely milled exfoliator for a few nights the week before the event.”
2. Beautify the eyes
“I like to dab eye cream after all-over moisturizer, then again after makeup is finished. I smooth a little Stunning Dawn™ Brightening Eye Cream over the under-eye area…to keep it soft, plump and pliable.”3. Tighten, smooth & dew
“First misted Vitamin Berry Facial Tonic to tighten and smooth (the neck, too!). While still dewy, I love, love, LOVE Three Milk Ageless Moisturizer to hydrate and set the stage for foundation.”Brett’s Pro Tip: “I use a brush over the face, and down the front of the neck. This technique ‘marries’ the two to create a seamless, dewy finish that lasts and lasts!”
4. Add head-turning highlight
“Nothing gives the face a fresh, energetic look like light-catching highlighting.”Brett’s Pro Tip: “My trick is to ensure the glisten pops in just the right places: I use a demi matte foundation and smooth a touch of Pink Dusk™ Illuminating Peptide Serum to the tops of cheekbones, tear duct, brown bone, tip of chin and nose.”
