Missing an eye, teeth untreated and distrusting of humans, Alvin was found at a sale barn with Theo and Simon in Oklahoma. Our amazing ranch handyman, Paul, brought Alvin here to give him a new life at our Sanctuary where he would never be afraid again. His confidence is growing everyday and he enjoys playing on the farm with his friend.

One thing he takes seriously is the importance of eating breakfast in the morning. Alvin NEVER misses a meal and is ALWAYS waiting in the exact location for his bowl. Although he is very introverted, Alvin is amazing with a lead rope and will follow you anywhere (after you catch him!).
